Invoicing tutoring sessions
Give every session its own line — put the date and subject in the description ("Mar 12 — Algebra II"), the session length in the quantity column, and your hourly rate in the rate column. Quantities take decimals, so a half-hour session is 0.5 and a ninety-minute one is 1.5; the line totals and the invoice total are calculated for you. Lesson blocks fit on a single line too: "10-lesson SAT prep package" at quantity 10 times your per-lesson rate, or quantity 1 at the package price.
